College Made Videos
This section of videos includes some of the work I made whist studying media at the BRIT School. I know they are awful, but you have to understand that I was 16 at the time! Some are funny and some are just plain awful!. Enjoy!

This video was a Media Project and the brief for was to create a film trailer for a film that does not exist. Me, my friends Merlin and Ben teamed up to create a slasher type horror film. We decided to use the halloween music and borrowed a cheap camcorder and had a great time in some woods in Purley!
We cooked up loads of blood using food colouring and filled a load of plastic bags!
Props included a psycho killer hockey mask, a baseball bat with a blood bag really badly taped to it (we were in the woods ok!) and a skull from the bottom of a fish tank covered in our fake blood!
Anyway, enjoy the film! |

This was a Media project where we had to create a TV Advert for an existing product. if I recall correctly we couldn't decide what to film so we went out with a camcorder and decided to shoot an ad for JVC Camcorders. The ideas then flowed and all that was needed was a sign!
We nicked a bit of wood from the workshop and spent ages making this sign, it had "Welcome to Compton" (a nasty part of Los Angeles!) with the welcome crossed out!
At the end we were walking back through the car park and we had the idea of the body outline on the car park floor, we did this with camera tape and just for a laugh we left it there - it was there for weeks! |

This was a masterpiece! there was only one thing that ruined it, as we switched locations, the good camera was not available so we had to use a crappy camera for the end!
Anyway, this one involved quite a few people, it was shot in a studio with some cool shots (check out the reflection shot), on location in Croydon high street and on location in my grandads field.
It all clipped together really well, the brief was to create a piece of drama using location and the studio. The film stars Terry McSherry, Ben Sylvester, Merlin Gelly and Danny Gardiner. I was always the camera shy one behind the camera! |

This was a nice little project, we had to create an opening sequence o a current affairs programme.
We created this Capital now theme and set about breaking some technical milestones! This was the first time chromakey was used at the brit school! Boy did it look rubbish, but we did it none the less!
It was shot using the the facilities that the media department had, the editing sequences were shot at the same time as the piece was being edited!
The music was a great choice, but Ben forgot to bring his suit and tie in, so it looks a bit pony at the end!! |

Dog Videos
This section includes all of the dog videos I have shot (there are a few!), When I first went on springer walks, I used to film the event and post the video for all of the other people so they would have something to remember the good times! I also filmed Daisy on holiday with us and when she was giving birth and the puppies growing up!
Enjoy the videos.

This was the first video of the dogs I made, I had shot lots of footage and was telling people on chat forums about Daisy and I thought why don't I just compile a few minuets so people could see the real daisy.
The video went down a treat and then led on to the daisymix 2 video. |

Springer Walk 1 - Mogador
|
This was the first Springer walk I went to, it was up on a large common in Mogador which is near the southern part of the M25 motorway. it is very close to where I live so I did not have to travel very far.
There is a nice pub called the sportsman and they allow dogs in the garden, its ok when it is summer but it is a pain in the backside when it is cold and raining!
I have videos of 3 walks here at Mogador.
It was one of the hottest days on record!
Enjoy!

Springer Walk 4 - Morden Hall Park
|
This Springer walk was the first in Morden Hall Park in South London. It was chosen because we were having a very hot summer and the park has the river wandle running through it.
Because the weather was so hot, the place was packed, normally it is nice and quiet!
The site is a National Trust site and has some lovely features. Dogs only have to be kept on leads around the rose garden and car park areas, at all other times they are free to roam and swim.
We had to put them on the lead a the end of the walk as we come across the duck pond - normally it is packed with ducks, but it was surprisingly empty when we got there - I think they knew we were coming! |

Baywalk the Video - Perranporth, Cornwall
|
This is the video I shot whilst on holiday in Cornwall which is in the South West of England. The beach this was shot on was Perranporth beach which is just south of Newquay.
The beach is completely dog friendly and boy do the dogs love it! there are loads of places to explore and loads of crystal clear pools for them to swim in.
I made the video to put on Cyberspaniels - A spaniel community forum I run, I also decided to clip it together to the music of baywatch!
I got the idea when I was down there and I saw all of the life guards, flags and jet skis with the surf - it just reminded me of Baywatch! |

This was a funny little video, I got my hands on some big balloons and when I blew one up daisy went mad!
I got the camcorder out and filmed her playing with the balloon until the inevitable happened! |

Daisy with the Water Balloon
|
Following on with the balloon theme, we wondered if and equal amount of fun could be had if we filled the balloon with water.
As you can see she got all exited as usual!
This happened during a long drought and heat wave, you can see the state of the lawn! |

In November 2006 Daisy gave birth to 7 healthy puppies - 2 of which we kept!
This video is of Merlin being born. Merlin was puppy 5 of 7.
If you watch, you can see him take his first breath.
I did let Daisy eat the afterbirths, but I only let her eat 4 because they could giver her an upset stomach if she eats too many - yuk! |

Daisy's Puppies - A few hours old
|
After the birth was all over - it took all day and most of the night, poor Daisy was exhausted.
you can see how tired she looks but she was a super mother and we did everything we could to make her comfortable.
She does look very proud of herself - and so she should, she raised 7 wonderful puppies. |
